Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Lisa Anderson

Dr. Lisa Anderson graduated from Wake Forest University in 1985 with a bachelor of arts degree in biology. She served in the U.S. Army for four years as a regular Army officer and then left the service to pursue a dental career. She began her dental journey by attending the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, graduating in May of 1995 with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery, she then rejoined the Army as a dentist. After graduation, she completed a one-year program in Advanced General Dentistry in Colorado Springs, CO in 1996. In 1998, after serving as the first female airborne dentist in the history of the 82nd Airborne Division, Dr. Anderson began her Endodontic residency at the University of Maryland Dental School.

She completed her two-year endodontic residency in June of 2000, she also earned a Masters of Science degree in oral biology in 2001. She served as the Chief of Endodontics at Walter Reed Army Medical Center while teaching part-time at the University of Maryland through 2001. After eight years of service, Dr. Anderson resigned her commission and has been in private practice since 2003. She enjoys hiking, visiting National Parks, photography, and traveling with her husband of 28 years.

Dr. Brian Minavi


Dr. Brian Minavi was born and raised in Houston, Texas. As a teenager, he enjoyed playing tennis, soccer, basketball, and competed internationally and nationally in the sport of Taekwondo, where Dr Minavi is currently a fourth degree black belt. 

After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Texas A&M University at College Station, he spent time volunteering with youth organizations around the city. He was accepted to the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 2012, where he obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2016. 

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Minavi completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. There he learned complex procedures like full mouth rehabilitation, implantology, sinus lifts, cosmetic and restorative dentistry and gained first class education in the fundamentals of dentistry.

From there, Dr Minavi was accepted and completed his Endodontics residency at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. During his residency, Dr. Minavi focused heavily on his research where he studied antibiotic irrigation solutions and the effects of Silver Diamine Fluoride on endodontic treatment and the reasons of endodontic failure and odontogenic vs. nonodontogenic pain.

Currently, he is involved with several organizations including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Hispanic Dental Association, Spears Dental Study Club, and the American Dental Education Association. Dr Minavi has held numerous positions in the dental field and has won numerous scholarships for his academic and his community service commitments. 

Dr. Minavi currently holds a dental license in the state of Colorado, Texas, and Oklahoma. He is bilingual and is proficient in English and Persian. He is also able to communicate effectively and efficiently to patients in the Spanish language.

Dr. Minavi is excited to practice in Colorado and is dedicated to bringing quality care and comfort to all his patients. He has also committed his life to service and enjoys mentoring students interested in dentistry.
